About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled and proactive IT Project Manager to join their technology team, operating remotely with occasional travel to Leeds . You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of IT projects, from initial planning and requirements gathering to implementation and post-launch support. This role requires a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycles, and cloud technologies, along with exceptional organizational and communication skills. You will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions that align with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of various IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system implementations.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, resource requirements, and budgets for IT initiatives.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical teams, business units, and external vendors.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Ensure that all IT projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Conduct project reviews and post-implementation analysis to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager , managing a variety of technology projects.
- Solid understanding of IT systems, software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum), and infrastructure.
- Experience with project management tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; ITIL or PMP certification is a plus.
