IT Project Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced IT Project Manager to join their technology division, operating remotely but with occasional travel to Belfast . This role is critical for the successful delivery of diverse IT projects, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, and system implementations. You will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of technical solutions that align with business needs and strategic IT goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
• Acquire and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and external vendors.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver project plans, proposals, status reports, and presentations.
• Identify and manage project risks and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders across different locations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management , with a strong focus on software development lifecycle (SDLC) and infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing cloud migration projects and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in delivering complex IT projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Excellent understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Jira, Asana, or Microsoft Project.
