About the Role
Our client, a prominent recruitment consultancy based in the historic city of Oxford , is looking for a skilled and motivated IT Recruitment Consultant . You will play a vital role in sourcing and placing technology professionals, including software developers, IT support staff, and cybersecurity experts, with innovative companies and academic institutions across the region and beyond. This role requires a solid understanding of the IT landscape, excellent candidate engagement skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. Working from their central Oxfordshire office, you will be at the forefront of connecting tech talent with exciting opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, attract, and screen IT professionals for a wide range of technical roles.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the technology and academic sectors.
- Manage the full recruitment process from vacancy intake to offer negotiation and placement.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in the IT job market.
- Utilise advanced sourcing techniques to find niche technical skills.
- Provide market insights and consultation to clients on IT talent acquisition.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an IT Recruitment Consultant or similar role.
- Strong understanding of IT terminology, technologies, and common job roles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build rapport with both technical candidates and hiring managers.
- Proactive and results-driven with a keen eye for talent.
- Must be comfortable working full-time from our Oxford office.
