Job Description

We are currently recruiting an experienced Carpenter for an immediate start, initially based on a project in Bromsgrove.

The successful candidate will join a Direct Works Team, carrying out a range of carpentry works across residential construction projects, including new-build housing developments, bespoke new builds, renovations and extensions.

The role will primarily involve 2nd fix carpentry and finishing works. However, candidates with a broad range of carpentry skills and good general building knowledge are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out 2nd fix carpentry and finishing works to a high standard.

*

Completing a variety of carpentry tasks across residential construction projects.

*

Working across new-build developments, bespoke properties, renovations and extensions.

*

Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

*

Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

*

Adapting to different sites and project requirements across the Midlands.

Requirements

*

Proven experience as a Carpenter, particularly in 2nd fix and finishing works.

*

A good range of general carpentry skills and sound building knowledge.

*

Own tools and reliable transport.

*

Willingness to travel to sites across Birmingham and the Midlands.

*

Reliable, adaptable and professional approach to work.

*

Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality finishes.
