Key Responsibilities

• Undergo rigorous training to obtain air traffic control licensing and ratings.
• Learn to manage and control air traffic within assigned airspace, adhering to strict safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with pilots using standard aviation phraseology, providing clear instructions and information.
• Monitor radar screens and other navigational aids to maintain situational awareness of aircraft positions and trajectories.
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and unusual situations, implementing contingency plans as required.
• Collaborate with other controllers and stakeholders to ensure seamless traffic flow and safety across the network.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to obtain security clearance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a clear speaking voice.
• Strong cognitive abilities, including spatial awareness, memory, and the capacity for rapid decision-making under pressure.
• Ability to work shift patterns, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Commitment to undergoing and successfully completing a comprehensive training program.
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is advantageous.
