About the Role
Our client is looking for an ambitious and talented Junior Architect to join their vibrant studio in Cardiff . This is an exciting opportunity for an individual at the beginning of their architectural career to gain hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of projects. You will work under the guidance of senior architects, contributing to design development, drawing production, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior architects in the preparation of design concepts, sketches, and presentation materials.
- Produce architectural drawings and models using Revit and other design software.
- Support the technical detailing and specification writing process for various project stages.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assist with project monitoring.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to design discussions.
- Help coordinate project documentation and correspondence with consultants and clients.
Requirements
- A recognised architectural qualification (e.g., RIBA Part I/II or equivalent).
- Some experience in an architectural practice, ideally with exposure to live projects.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential; knowledge of other 3D modeling software is a plus.
- A strong passion for design and a good understanding of architectural principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to learning and development.
