About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and eager Junior Architectural Assistant to join their dynamic team on a fully remote basis, with a connection to Southampton . This internship provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain hands-on experience in a professional architectural setting, contributing to various stages of the design process. You will work closely with experienced architects and designers, assisting with drawing production, research, and visualisations, gaining valuable insights into the profession. This is a fully remote role designed to offer comprehensive learning and development in a flexible, supportive online environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of architectural drawings, plans, sections, and elevations using CAD and Revit software.
• Help create 3D models and basic visualisations for design presentations.
• Conduct research on building materials, products, and relevant regulations.
• Support the team with administrative tasks related to project documentation and archiving.
• Participate in design team meetings and contribute ideas under guidance.
• Learn and apply company standards for drawing production and documentation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of architectural design principles and software like AutoCAD and Revit .
• Strong desire to learn and develop skills within the architectural profession.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team setting.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
