Junior Chemical Engineer

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Chemical Engineer to join their team in Reading . Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of chemical processes and equipment.
• Collect and analyze process data to identify areas for improvement.
• Support the implementation of new process technologies and modifications.
• Participate in process hazard analyses and contribute to safety improvement initiatives.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project updates.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure operational efficiency in Reading .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in a chemical engineering role.
• Familiarity with process simulation tools is a plus.
• Good understanding of fundamental chemical engineering principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
