About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and analytical Junior E-commerce Analyst to join their operations team in Portsmouth . This role is designed for an individual keen to develop their career in data analysis within the fast-paced world of e-commerce. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on key e-commerce metrics to support strategic decision-making, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for business growth. Working closely with the e-commerce and marketing teams, you will help optimize website performance and enhance the customer journey, contributing to the company's overall success.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and organize data from various e-commerce platforms and analytics tools.
• Analyze website traffic, sales data, customer behavior, and marketing campaign performance.
• Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights for the e-commerce team.
• Support A/B testing initiatives and analyze results to improve website conversion rates.
• Assist in forecasting sales and identifying potential growth opportunities based on data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related analytical field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in using spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel) for data analysis and reporting.
• Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is a plus.
