About the Role

Our client is looking for an ambitious and diligent Junior Legal Counsel to join their dynamic legal team in Brighton . This hybrid role offers an excellent platform for an early-career lawyer to gain broad experience across various legal disciplines, including commercial contracts, intellectual property, and compliance. You will work closely with senior legal professionals, providing support on day-to-day legal matters and contributing to strategic projects. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial contracts and agreements.
• Provide legal support on day-to-day operational matters, including intellectual property protection.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memos on various legal issues affecting the business.
• Support compliance initiatives and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
• Liaise with external counsel and other stakeholders as required.
• Assist in managing the company's legal documentation and records.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with up to 3 years' post-qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of commercial law and contract principles.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage workload efficiently and work collaboratively in a hybrid environment .
