About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Legal Counsel to join their remote-first legal team. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements and legal documents.
- Conduct thorough legal research on various topics and prepare concise summaries for the legal team.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of legal policies and compliance procedures.
- Help manage the company's contract database and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Provide administrative support to the legal department as needed.
- Learn and apply new legal concepts and company procedures across different business units.
Requirements
- Law degree and a qualified Solicitor or Barrister (or equivalent).
- 0-3 years of post-qualification experience in a legal setting.
- Basic understanding of contract law and corporate legal principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and eagerness to master legal tech tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a remote setting.
