About the Role
Our client, a leading engineering firm in Sheffield , is seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer Apprentice . Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
- Participate in the testing and analysis of prototypes and existing mechanical designs.
- Support senior engineers in conducting research and gathering technical data.
- Help in creating technical drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Learn and apply engineering principles related to mechanics, materials, and thermodynamics.
Requirements
- A strong interest in mechanical engineering and manufacturing.
- Solid understanding of mathematics and physics principles.
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
