Junior Sous Chef - Luxury Hotel & Events Venue Edinburgh £44,625 OTE | Four-Day Working Week Flexible Workforce Solutions are proud to be recruiting a Junior Sous Chef for one of Scotland's most prestigious luxury hotels. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a talented banqueting brigade within a renowned five-star property, working in a stunning events venue that delivers everything from intimate private dining experiences to high-profile functions and weddings for up to 500 guests. Working closely with the Executive Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef, you will play a key role in delivering consistently outstanding food while helping to maintain the exacting standards expected of one of Scotland's most respected hospitality destinations. This role would suit a Junior Sous Chef who takes genuine pride in their work and thrives in a professional, quality-driven kitchen environment.

Support the day-to-day operation of a busy banqueting kitchen delivering events throughout the year Assist in leading and motivating a professional kitchen brigade Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation and service Help train and develop junior chefs within the team Maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and events teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences About You We're looking for a chef who combines strong technical skills with a positive attitude and a genuine commitment to excellence. You'll ideally have:
Experience in a quality hotel, events, banqueting or high-volume premium catering operation A solid understanding of large-scale service whilst maintaining attention to detail The ability to lead by example during busy services Strong organisational skills and a professional approach A passion for Scottish produce and seasonal ingredients The ambition to continue developing your career within a high-performing kitchen brigade Most importantly, we're looking for someone who takes pride in their craft, supports their colleagues, and consistently upholds the standards expected of a leading luxury hospitality venue
