About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior UX/UI Designer Apprentice to join their creative team in Brighton . This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in user experience and user interface design, working on exciting digital products. You will collaborate with product managers, developers, and senior designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. This apprenticeship provides a blend of on-site collaboration and remote flexibility, allowing you to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to impactful design projects. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and inform design decisions.
- Collaborate with the design team to develop and refine user personas and journey maps.
- Ensure design consistency across all digital platforms by adhering to style guides and design systems.
- Translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive and engaging interface designs.
- Stay updated with the latest UX/UI design trends and best practices.
Requirements
- A demonstrable passion for user-centered design and a portfolio of design work (academic or personal).
- Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Understanding of UX principles, usability, and interaction design.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working in a hybrid team environment.
- Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.
- Proactive attitude towards learning and seeking feedback.
