About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and eager Junior Web Developer Apprentice to join their expanding tech department in Birmingham . This apprenticeship offers a fantastic pathway into the world of web development, where you will gain practical skills in front-end and back-end technologies. You will be involved in real-world projects, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of websites and web applications. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in coding, testing, and debugging websites and web applications using relevant programming languages and frameworks.
• Learn to develop responsive user interfaces that provide a seamless user experience across devices.
• Support the back-end development team with database integration and API development.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, standards, and best practices are maintained.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate requirements into functional web solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by clients or internal teams.

Requirements

• A passion for coding and a strong desire to learn web development technologies.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is advantageous.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, PHP, Node.js) is a plus.
• Problem-solving aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent are required; A-Levels or BTEC in a related field are beneficial.
