About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Juniper Network Administrator to enhance their infrastructure operations in Leeds . You will be responsible for the day-to-day management, configuration, and troubleshooting of their extensive network environment, which relies heavily on Juniper hardware and Junos OS. This role is crucial for maintaining network stability, security, and performance, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude and a proactive approach to network administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and maintain Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network health and performance using various management tools.
• Implement network security policies and procedures, including firewall rule updates and VPN management.
• Respond to and resolve network incidents and problems in a timely manner.
• Perform regular backups of network device configurations and system updates.
• Document network configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Administrator with a specialization in Juniper equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of Junos OS, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS.
• Familiarity with network security principles and technologies.
• Relevant Juniper certifications (e.g., JNCIA, JNCIS, JNCIP) are strongly preferred.
