Key Responsibilities

• Administer, manage, and maintain the company's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.
• Implement and enforce network security policies, including firewall management, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and proactively identify potential issues.
• Provide technical support for network-related incidents, resolving complex problems efficiently.
• Plan and execute network upgrades and system enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, topology maps, and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration and support.
• Strong knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP), switching technologies, and network security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with network hardware from major vendors (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, HP).
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent experience are highly valued for this role in Leeds .
