About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Key Account Manager to manage and grow their most valuable client relationships from their Liverpool base. This role is pivotal in ensuring client retention, satisfaction, and maximizing revenue through upselling and cross-selling opportunities. You will act as the primary liaison for a portfolio of major accounts, deeply understanding their business objectives and ensuring our client's solutions consistently deliver exceptional value and support their success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term strategic relationships with a portfolio of key accounts .
- Act as the main point of contact, addressing client needs, concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling relevant products and services within existing accounts.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance analyses with clients to demonstrate ROI and alignment with their goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product, support, operations) to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution for key clients.
- Track account progress, identify potential risks, and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them, ensuring client retention in Liverpool .
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager , Senior Account Manager, or similar role, managing high-value clients.
- Demonstrated success in client retention, revenue growth, and relationship management.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand complex client needs and business challenges.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales forecasting tools.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a demanding client portfolio within the Merseyside region.
