About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Key Account Manager to join their dedicated sales team in Bristol . This role is responsible for managing and growing relationships with a portfolio of the company's most important clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for increased revenue. You will act as the primary point of contact, understanding client needs deeply and aligning our client's offerings to meet those requirements. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication and negotiation skills, a strong business acumen, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service, contributing to long-term client success in the Bristol area.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and nurture a portfolio of key accounts, fostering strong, long-term relationships.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue growth and customer retention targets.
- Understand client business objectives and proactively identify opportunities to add value.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, coordinating internal resources to meet client needs.
- Negotiate contract renewals and expansions, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Regularly report on account status, sales progress, and customer feedback to management.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in key account management or a similar client-facing sales role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and growing high-value client accounts.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand diverse client industries.
- Experience with CRM systems and account management best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
