Job Description
Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in North Tyneside this September.
This full-time position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers, supporting pupils in Years 3–6 and helping them prepare for the next stage of their education.
The Role
- Support teaching and learning within Key Stage 2 classrooms
- Deliver targeted interventions in English and Maths
- Work with pupils individually and in small groups
- Assist with classroom preparation and resource organisation
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours
- Support pupils of all abilities, including those requiring additional support
About You
- Previous experience working with primary-aged children
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Positive, reliable and adaptable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Passionate about helping children achieve their full potential
