About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Air Traffic Controller to oversee operations at a busy regional airport. Key Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the activities of air traffic control personnel to ensure the safe, orderly, and expeditious flow of air traffic.
• Develop and implement air traffic control procedures and protocols, ensuring compliance with national and international aviation regulations.
• Conduct regular training sessions and performance evaluations for air traffic controllers, fostering professional development.
• Monitor weather conditions and airport operations, making critical decisions to manage airspace effectively and prevent conflicts.
• Collaborate with airport management, airlines, and emergency services to coordinate responses to incidents or disruptions.
• Maintain detailed records of air traffic movements, incidents, and operational performance.

Requirements

• Current and valid Air Traffic Controller license and relevant ratings.
• Significant experience (minimum 7 years) in air traffic control, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Deep understanding of aviation law, air navigation, and radar control procedures.
• Proven ability to remain calm and make critical decisions under extreme pressure.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
