About the Role

Our client, a prestigious architectural firm based in Newcastle upon Tyne , is looking for an innovative and experienced Lead Architect . You will be responsible for leading design teams, developing conceptual designs into fully realised projects, and ensuring the highest standards of architectural quality and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of significant architectural projects from inception to completion.
• Mentor and manage a team of architects and technologists, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Develop innovative design concepts and present them effectively to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects comply with all relevant planning policies, building regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed drawings, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Conduct site visits and project administration, ensuring design intent is maintained throughout construction.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with extensive post-qualification experience.
• Proven track record in leading complex architectural projects.
• Proficiency in ArchiCAD or Revit , and Adobe Creative Suite.
• In-depth knowledge of UK planning and building regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
