About the Role

Our client is seeking a visionary and experienced Lead Architect to spearhead innovative design projects in Coventry . This pivotal role involves leading design teams, managing project lifecycles from conception to completion, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional architectural solutions that meet client objectives and exceed industry standards. You will play a key role in shaping the built environment, fostering a collaborative design culture, and driving the technical excellence of the practice. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of architects and technologists, fostering a culture of design excellence and collaboration.
• Oversee the entire design process for major projects, from initial concept development and feasibility studies to detailed design and construction administration.
• Develop and present innovative design proposals to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Ensure all architectural designs comply with relevant building codes, planning regulations, and sustainability standards in the West Midlands .
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
• Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and local authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.

Requirements

• A recognised professional qualification in Architecture (e.g., RIBA Part III or equivalent).
• Significant experience in leading architectural projects from inception to completion, with a strong portfolio.
• Demonstrated expertise in architectural design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and visualization tools .
• In-depth knowledge of UK building regulations, planning laws, and construction methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate design teams and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
