About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Architect to head up their practice in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for overseeing the architectural vision and execution of a diverse portfolio of projects, guiding a talented team of architects and designers. Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the architectural team, fostering a culture of design excellence and innovation.
• Manage the design process for key projects, ensuring they meet client requirements, budget, and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee the technical development and detailing of architectural designs.
• Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Champion sustainable design principles and best practices throughout all projects.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with extensive post-qualification experience (e.g., RIBA or equivalent).
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in architectural practice, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.
• Expertise in Revit and other relevant architectural design and documentation software.
• In-depth knowledge of planning legislation, building regulations, and construction technologies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
