Our client, an award-winning architectural studio based in Norwich , is seeking a dynamic Lead Architectural Designer to spearhead design innovation and guide project teams. This role requires a visionary individual with a passion for creating inspiring and functional spaces, who can translate complex ideas into compelling architectural solutions. You will be responsible for leading the design process on a variety of projects, from initial concept to detailed design development, ensuring a high standard of creativity and technical execution. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the conceptualization and design development for diverse architectural projects.
- Produce high-quality design presentations, including sketches, 3D models, and renderings.
- Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their vision and requirements.
- Mentor and guide junior design staff, fostering a culture of creativity and technical excellence.
- Coordinate with technical teams and consultants to ensure seamless design integration and delivery.
Requirements
- A professional qualification in Architecture or a related design discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative talent.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and visualization software (e.g., Revit , Rhino, Lumion).
- Excellent understanding of design principles, materials, and contemporary architectural trends.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
