About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Lead Architectural Drafter to join their fully remote team. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and completeness of all architectural drawings and documentation produced by the firm. You will lead a team of drafters, oversee the production process, and implement best practices for drafting and documentation. Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of architectural drafters in a remote setting.
- Oversee the production of detailed architectural drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules using BIM and CAD software.
- Develop and enforce drafting standards, templates, and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
- Review and approve all architectural drawings before issuance to clients or project teams.
- Collaborate closely with architects and project managers to ensure design intent is accurately translated into documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve drafting-related issues, ensuring timely delivery of documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Architectural Drafter or Architectural Technologist.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a drafting team.
- Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction documentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, crucial for remote work.
- Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with remote team members and stakeholders.
