About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Lead Architectural Technologist to spearhead technical design and delivery for their projects in Manchester . You will be the technical authority, translating complex architectural designs into buildable solutions, ensuring technical accuracy, and managing the production of detailed construction information. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of projects, bridging the gap between design intent and on-site reality, and maintaining the high standards of technical quality that our client is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the production of detailed technical drawings and specifications using BIM software .
- Oversee the technical design process, ensuring compliance with building regulations, British Standards, and other relevant legislation.
- Liaise effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct technical reviews of designs and construction methods to ensure buildability and efficiency.
- Manage and mentor a team of architectural technologists and technicians.
- Undertake site inspections to ensure construction conforms to technical drawings and specifications.
Requirements
- Significant experience as an Architectural Technologist , with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
- Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
- In-depth knowledge of construction technology, materials, and building regulations in the UK.
- Experience in managing technical documentation and project delivery phases.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a meticulous attention to detail.
- Relevant HNC/HND or degree in Architectural Technology.
