Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design development for architectural projects, ensuring accuracy and buildability.
• Produce high-quality construction drawings, specifications, and BIM models using industry-standard software.
• Ensure full compliance with UK building regulations, planning legislation, and health & safety requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Oversee and mentor junior architectural technicians and technologists within the team.
• Conduct technical reviews and quality control checks throughout the design and construction phases.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as an Architectural Technologist or Technician, with proven leadership capabilities.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential; strong knowledge of BIM processes is required.
• In-depth understanding of construction methods, materials, and UK building regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team in a hybrid setting.
• Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology or a related discipline.
