Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, integration, and testing of complex avionics systems, including communication, navigation, and flight control systems.
• Manage and mentor a team of avionics engineers, fostering technical excellence and efficient project execution.
• Define system requirements, architecture, and interface specifications for avionic sub-systems.
• Oversee the validation and verification of avionics systems against stringent aerospace standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, including structures, propulsion, and software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during the development and flight testing phases.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in avionics design and systems engineering within the aerospace industry.
• Proven track record of leading engineering projects and teams successfully.
• In-depth knowledge of avionic systems, data buses (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553), and flight management systems.
• Experience with aerospace certification processes and relevant regulatory standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, essential for coordinating complex projects on-site.
