About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of civil engineering infrastructure, including drainage, highways, and site development.
• Oversee and review design work produced by the engineering team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and technical specifications.
• Utilize advanced design software and techniques to optimize engineering solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians within the design team.
• Ensure designs meet all relevant UK and Northern Ireland standards, building regulations, and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in civil engineering design, with a proven track record in a lead or senior role.
• Proficiency in relevant design software packages (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage).
• Strong knowledge of UK and Northern Ireland planning and building regulations.
