Lead BIM Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Lead BIM Architect to drive the adoption and execution of Building Information Modelling (BIM) strategies across their projects. Operating in a fully remote capacity, you will be instrumental in setting standards, developing workflows, and providing expert guidance to project teams nationwide. This role requires a strong technical background in architecture and deep expertise in BIM methodologies, coupled with the ability to mentor and lead teams from a distance. You will shape how digital design and collaboration are implemented, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and innovation in all architectural outputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of BIM strategies and standards across all architectural projects.
• Oversee the creation and management of project BIM models, ensuring data integrity and compliance with client requirements.
• Provide expert technical support and training to architectural and design teams on BIM software and workflows.
• Collaborate with project managers and consultants to ensure seamless integration of BIM into the project lifecycle.
• Champion best practices in digital construction, actively researching and promoting new technologies and methodologies.

Requirements

• Professional qualification in Architecture with a strong emphasis on BIM.
• Extensive experience (8+ years) in BIM coordination and management, with a proven track record of leading BIM implementation on complex projects.
• Expert knowledge of Revit , Navisworks, and other leading BIM software and platforms.
• Deep understanding of PAS 1192 / ISO 19650 standards and their application.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and remote team management skills.
