About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished Lead BIM Architect to spearhead their digital transformation in architectural design. This is a remote position, allowing you to contribute to high-profile projects across the UK from your preferred location. You will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies , standards, and workflows. This role requires a visionary leader with extensive experience in BIM technologies and a passion for innovation in the built environment. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing project efficiency, collaboration, and data management for our client's diverse project portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement company-wide BIM strategies, standards, and protocols to enhance project delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of BIM specialists and architects, ensuring adherence to BIM requirements.
- Oversee the creation and management of complex BIM models for large-scale architectural projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM workflows from design through construction and facility management.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill staff on the latest BIM technologies and best practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in BIM and digital construction, recommending advancements for adoption.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in architectural design with a specialization in BIM implementation and management.
- Proven expertise in Revit and other relevant BIM software (e.g., Navisworks, Dynamo).
- Strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and their practical application.
- Experience in leading BIM initiatives on complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, essential for remote team management.
- A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related discipline.
