About the Role
Our client is looking for an innovative and forward-thinking Lead BIM Architect to spearhead their Building Information Modelling initiatives in Birmingham . You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining BIM standards, workflows, and protocols across various projects, ensuring efficient collaboration and data management. This senior position requires a deep understanding of architectural design principles coupled with expertise in BIM technologies and their application in the construction lifecycle. You will play a crucial role in enhancing project delivery efficiency, quality, and coordination for a diverse portfolio of schemes within the West Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage the company's BIM strategy and standards across all projects.
- Lead and mentor a team of BIM coordinators and technicians, ensuring high-quality output.
- Oversee the creation and management of BIM models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integration.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to define BIM requirements and execution plans.
- Drive the adoption and advancement of BIM technologies and workflows within the practice to improve design and construction processes.
Requirements
- Qualified Architect with a minimum of 10 years of experience, with at least 5 years focused on BIM implementation and leadership.
- Expert knowledge of Revit , Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software suites.
- Proven ability to develop and enforce BIM standards, protocols, and execution plans.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry and project delivery processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
