About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Lead BIM Architect to drive digital transformation within their design processes. Operating remotely, you will be instrumental in establishing and upholding BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across all projects. This role is perfect for a tech-savvy architect passionate about leveraging Building Information Modelling to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and design quality from anywhere in the UK. You will play a crucial role in shaping how our client delivers cutting-edge architectural solutions, working closely with project teams nationwide in a fully supported remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive BIM strategies and execution plans for diverse architectural projects.
- Provide technical leadership and support for BIM software and workflows to project teams.
- Ensure the effective coordination and clash detection of multi-disciplinary models.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on BIM models and data.
- Train and mentor team members on BIM technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to integrate BIM into project delivery from inception.
Requirements
- RIBA Part III qualified Architect with a minimum of 7 years of experience, with at least 3 years focused on BIM implementation.
- Advanced proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, with a strong understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Experience in developing and managing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
- Excellent understanding of architectural design principles and construction methodologies.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
