About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Lead BIM Architect to spearhead their Building Information Modelling initiatives in Coventry . This senior position involves establishing and maintaining BIM standards, workflows, and protocols across the practice, ensuring seamless project delivery and enhanced collaboration. You will be instrumental in driving the adoption of cutting-edge BIM technologies and practices, working on a variety of exciting commercial and residential projects. This is a critical role for an ambitious architect or technologist passionate about the future of digital design and construction in the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's BIM strategy , standards, and execution plans.
• Lead and mentor a team of BIM technicians and coordinators, providing technical guidance and support.
• Oversee the creation and management of federated models, ensuring data integrity and clash detection.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure BIM requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Champion the use of BIM tools and methodologies to improve design quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in Coventry .

Requirements

• Qualified Architect or Architectural Technologist with significant experience in a BIM leadership role.
• Expert proficiency in Revit , Navisworks, and other BIM-related software.
• Comprehensive understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and their application.
• Demonstrated experience in managing BIM projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical skills and a commitment to continuous improvement in digital construction practices.
