About the Role
Our client is actively searching for a dynamic and visionary Lead BIM Architect to spearhead their digital design initiatives from a fully remote capacity. This senior position is critical in defining and implementing BIM strategies across all projects, ensuring a high standard of digital delivery and interoperability. You will be the go-to expert for all things BIM, guiding project teams, developing standards, and championing the adoption of advanced modeling techniques. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive BIM standards , workflows, and protocols for the organisation.
- Lead and mentor project teams on best practices for BIM execution and management.
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of project models, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with external consultants and clients to ensure seamless BIM integration and information exchange.
- Provide technical expertise and training on BIM software and related technologies.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology and digital construction, recommending adoption where beneficial.
Requirements
- Professional qualification as an Architect or extensive experience in a senior BIM role.
- Demonstrable experience (8+ years) in leading BIM implementation and management on large-scale projects.
- Expert proficiency in Revit and a deep understanding of its functionalities and ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of COBie, IFC, and other data exchange standards.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools for BIM is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, crucial for remote team management.
