About the Role
Our client is actively seeking a highly experienced Lead BIM Architect to spearhead their digital design initiatives within a fully remote capacity. This leadership role is crucial for driving the implementation and advancement of Building Information Modelling (BIM) strategies across all project stages. You will guide a team of talented architectural professionals, foster best practices in digital collaboration, and ensure the seamless integration of BIM technologies into the design and construction workflow. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive BIM strategies and workflows for a diverse range of architectural projects.
- Lead and mentor a team of architects and technologists, ensuring high standards of digital design and documentation.
- Oversee the creation and management of BIM models, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project requirements.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients and contractors, to promote effective BIM adoption and integration.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in digital architecture and BIM, recommending advancements to the practice.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance the BIM proficiency of the wider team.
Requirements
- Professional qualification as an Architect with significant post-qualification experience.
- Demonstrable expertise in leading BIM implementation and management on complex projects.
- Proficiency in Revit , Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software suites.
- Strong understanding of national and international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, adapted for remote engagement.
