About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead BIM Coordinator to spearhead their Building Information Modeling efforts in Birmingham . This senior position involves overseeing the implementation and management of BIM strategies across multiple high-profile construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of digital information delivery and coordination, working closely with project teams to maximize the benefits of BIM throughout the project lifecycle. This is a critical role for an individual passionate about digital construction technologies and driving efficiency, quality, and collaboration on complex schemes within a respected architectural practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive BIM execution plans for all assigned projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of BIM technicians and coordinators, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Coordinate and manage the federated model, resolving clashes and ensuring data integrity.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure BIM requirements are met.
• Oversee the quality assurance of all BIM deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Stay abreast of the latest BIM technologies and methodologies, driving innovation within the practice.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a BIM coordination or management role within the AEC industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in using Revit , Navisworks, and other relevant BIM software.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650 standards and UK BIM Framework.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
