Lead BIM Coordinator

About the Role

Our client, a forward-thinking architectural practice based in Brighton , is embracing a remote-first working model and seeks a highly skilled Lead BIM Coordinator to manage their Building Information Modelling processes. You will be instrumental in establishing and enforcing BIM standards, coordinating models across disciplines, and ensuring the efficient flow of information throughout the project lifecycle. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK while collaborating with a dynamic team on exciting and innovative architectural projects. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for the practice.
• Coordinate BIM models from various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP), resolving clashes and ensuring model integrity.
• Manage the BIM execution plan (BEP) for projects, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
• Provide training and support to project teams on BIM software and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure seamless model integration.
• Conduct regular model audits and quality checks to maintain data accuracy and consistency.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a BIM Coordinator or BIM Manager, with a proven track record of leading BIM implementation.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and Navisworks, with a strong understanding of federated models and clash detection.
• In-depth knowledge of PAS 1192 / ISO 19650 standards and BIM Level 2/3 concepts.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects remotely and effectively coordinate dispersed teams.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.
