About the Role

Our client is looking for an experienced and innovative Lead Blockchain Engineer to guide their technical team in Oxford . In this leadership role, you will be responsible for the architecture, development, and deployment of complex blockchain solutions, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and efficient. You will mentor junior engineers, define technical standards, and drive innovation within the crypto and Web3 space. Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of robust blockchain architectures and protocols.
Oversee the implementation of smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps).
Mentor and guide a team of blockchain engineers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and security protocols for blockchain development.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and technical roadmaps.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and ensure the scalability and performance of blockchain solutions.

Requirements

Significant experience as a Blockchain Engineer with a proven track record in leading development teams.
Deep understanding of blockchain technologies, distributed ledger systems, and cryptography .
Proficiency in smart contract development (e.g., Solidity) and relevant programming languages (e.g., Go, Rust, Python).
Experience designing and implementing scalable and secure blockchain networks.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to drive technical innovation in the crypto space in Oxford .
