About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Blockchain Engineer to guide their technical direction in the crypto and blockchain space. This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to lead a talented team of engineers in designing and building scalable, secure, and innovative blockchain solutions. You will play a critical role in architecting our core blockchain infrastructure, mentoring team members, and driving technical strategy. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about decentralization, possesses deep technical expertise, and thrives in a collaborative, remote-first environment, pushing the boundaries of what's possible.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex blockchain architectures and protocols.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of blockchain engineers.
Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural patterns.
Oversee the development of smart contracts, dApps, and related backend services.
Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define technical roadmaps.
Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of all blockchain-related systems.

Requirements

10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on blockchain development.
Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and projects.
Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals, consensus algorithms, and cryptography.
Proficiency in smart contract development (e.g., Solidity) and relevant programming languages (e.g., Go, Rust, Python).
Experience with distributed systems design and implementation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for remote collaboration .
