Lead Chemical Engineer - Process Safety

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance and training on process safety principles to engineering and operational staff.
• Investigate process safety incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with design teams to integrate safety considerations into new projects and modifications.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, with a strong focus on safety.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in process safety engineering within the chemical or petrochemical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, industry standards (e.g., COMAH), and best practices.
• Proven experience in leading HAZOP studies and other risk assessment techniques.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams on safety matters.
