Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of chemical engineers, providing technical direction and fostering professional growth.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of chemical process development, from conceptual design and feasibility studies to pilot plant trials and full-scale implementation.
• Develop and implement advanced process control strategies to optimize plant performance, safety, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and commercial teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes and products.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, ensuring successful project delivery in a remote setting.
• Champion best practices in process design, safety, and sustainability across the engineering function.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in chemical engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex chemical process development projects from concept to commercialization.
• Expertise in process modeling, simulation, and optimization tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, essential for managing a remote team.
• Proven ability to work independently, make strategic decisions, and drive innovation in a virtual environment.
