About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage chemical process development projects from initial concept through to successful scale-up and implementation.
• Direct and mentor a team of chemical process engineers, providing technical guidance and performance feedback.
• Develop robust, scalable, and cost-effective chemical manufacturing processes.
• Oversee the design of experiments (DoE), process simulations, and pilot plant trials.
• Ensure all process designs and operations adhere to the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Collaborate closely with research scientists, project managers, and manufacturing personnel to ensure seamless technology transfer and project success.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in chemical process development and engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven expertise in process design, scale-up, troubleshooting, and optimization for complex chemical systems.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, reaction engineering , and separation technologies.
• Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus) and statistical analysis tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
