About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and optimization of new chemical processes and existing plant modifications.
• Oversee process hazard analyses (PHAs) and ensure rigorous safety protocols are implemented.
• Manage process engineering projects, including scope, budget, and timeline, from initiation to closure.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of chemical engineers.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant functioning and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices in chemical engineering.

Requirements

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Extensive experience (7+ years) in chemical process design, scale-up, and plant operations, with a significant portion in a leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated expertise in process simulation, P&ID development, and HAZOP studies.
• Strong project management skills and experience managing complex technical projects.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant chemical engineering software and standards.
