About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Lead Civil Design Engineer to spearhead their design operations in Stoke-on-Trent . This pivotal role involves leading a team of civil engineers and technicians in the conceptualization and detailed design of infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the civil design team, overseeing project workload and resource allocation.
• Develop and review conceptual and detailed designs for infrastructure projects, including roads, drainage, and utilities.
• Ensure all designs meet stringent quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, clients, and external stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in civil design engineering, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary design teams and complex projects.
• Expertise in relevant design software and modeling techniques (e.g., Civil 3D, BIM).
• Strong understanding of contract administration and project management principles.
