About the Role
Our client is seeking a seasoned Lead Civil Infrastructure Engineer to spearhead critical infrastructure projects. This is an on-site role, demanding a hands-on approach and direct engagement with project teams and stakeholders. You will be responsible for the strategic planning, design oversight, and successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure developments, including transportation networks, utilities, and public works. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of infrastructure engineering principles, and a proven track record of managing complex projects from conception through to completion. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our region's infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of major civil infrastructure projects.
- Manage project teams, ensuring efficient collaboration and high-quality output.
- Develop project strategies, scopes of work, and detailed execution plans.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management for all assigned projects.
- Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects adhere to stringent safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in leading complex infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated expertise in transportation engineering , water resources, or site development.
- Strong knowledge of UK infrastructure planning, design, and construction regulations.
- Proven ability to manage large teams and multi-million pound budgets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
