Graduate Civil Engineer - Site & Design Exposure

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Graduate Civil Engineer to join their progressive team in Leeds . You will support senior engineers on a variety of infrastructure and construction projects, contributing to design tasks, site supervision, and project coordination. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with the preparation of design calculations, drawings, and technical reports for civil engineering schemes.
• Support site teams with technical queries, quality assurance, and health and safety monitoring on active construction sites in Leeds .
• Participate in site visits and surveys to gather data and assess site conditions.
• Help manage project documentation, including site records, progress reports, and material submittals.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure designs are implemented effectively and efficiently.
• Undertake training and development activities to build technical competency and professional qualifications.

Requirements

• A recent degree (BEng or MEng) in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• A strong academic record and a genuine passion for civil engineering.
• Familiarity with basic civil engineering principles and software (e.g., AutoCAD).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to undertake both office-based design work and site-based activities.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid UK driving license is an advantage.
