Lead Cybersecurity Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and proactive Lead Cybersecurity Analyst to lead their security operations remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the security operations center (SOC) functions, including threat monitoring and incident response.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of security alerts, logs, and network traffic to identify and investigate potential threats.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices to mitigate risks.
• Oversee vulnerability assessments and penetration testing activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of cybersecurity analysts.
• Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security operations and incident response.
• Proven experience in leading a cybersecurity team or function.
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
• Expertise in security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, and firewalls.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
