About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to spearhead their cloud infrastructure and deployment strategies. This is a critical remote role where you will be responsible for building, automating, and optimizing the systems that power our client's cutting-edge applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration, high availability, and robust security across all environments. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment processes.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively implement solutions to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Develop and enforce security best practices for cloud environments and applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize application deployment and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior or lead DevOps role, with a strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Expertise in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and related services.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills, adept at working effectively in a remote team environment.
